RN Mother/Baby

Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the mother/baby unit using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer prescribed medications, monitor fetal well-being, and assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures. Educate patients and families on prenatal screenings, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care while implementing infection control protocols and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Respond to medical emergencies, participate in code team activities, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
