Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Mother Baby role includes planning and implementing patient and family education, assessing patient needs, and initiating appropriate interventions. Essential functions involve collecting comprehensive patient data, conducting health assessments, developing individualized care plans, implementing and evaluating nursing practices, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Candidates must maintain licensure and certifications specific to neonatal care and participate in ongoing education regarding cerebrovascular disease. Physical demands include varying levels of lifting, standing, and walking, while also dealing with exposure to infectious diseases and emotional challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
- American Heart Association BLS
- STABLE certification within two years of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification required within 6 months of hire; recertification required every 2 years
