Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Mother/Baby unit, utilizing the nursing process to prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team. Ensure compliance with AWHONN and AACN standards while supporting individualized specialty education through clinical orientation. This onsite night shift role at UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital North requires full-time 72-hour coverage with a quarterly incentive program, offering a competitive hourly rate dependent on experience.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- RNC-OB
- C-EFM
- CCRN
