Job Summary

Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Mother/Baby unit using the nursing process, prioritizing patient wellness and evidence-based practice. Deliver multidisciplinary care aligned with AWHONN and AACN standards while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Maintain safety and quality at the point of care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Complete required certifications including NRP and ACLS within six months of hire, ensuring BLS/CPR cards are current at start. Work full-time nights (72 hours/2 weeks) onsite at UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO, earning $35.29–$54.71/hour plus a $1,600 quarterly night shift incentive.

Required Qualifications

  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
  • NRP within 6 months of hire
  • ACLS for those that do labor
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
  • BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
  • Relevant certification as determined at position level
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
