Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Mother/Baby unit, Labor and Delivery Birth Center, and NICU while supporting a multidisciplinary team. Prioritize evidence-based practice and patient wellness, modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care by adhering to AWHONN and AACN standards. Full-time nights shift with 72 hours per pay period. Requires RN licensure, six months of women's and infants nursing experience, and NRP certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
