Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Mother/Baby unit, prioritizing a patient perspective and evidence-based practice. Model proficiency by precepting new staff and guide competency validation through Clinical Educators. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while adhering to AWHONN and AACN standards. Requires state RN licensure, 6 months of Women and Infants experience, NRP certification within 6 months, and current BLS/CPR. Full-time day and night rotation with a 3-year incentive bonus and comprehensive total rewards program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
