Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Mom and Baby unit, Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery-Birth Center, and NICU across Highlands Ranch, Longs Peak, and University of Colorado Hospitals. Prioritize evidence-based practice, patient wellness, and multidisciplinary team collaboration to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new staff and guide individualized specialty education through Clinical Educators. Maintain BLS certification and complete NRP within six months of hire. Work full-time nights, 72 hours per pay period, onsite at UCHealth Anschutz.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
