Job Summary
Float Pool RNs in the Mom Baby unit provide direct patient care across multiple UCHealth facilities (Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Birth Center, NICU) with a patient-focus, using the nursing process in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include clinical care for obstetric and neonatal patients, supporting teams, precepting new staff, adhering to evidence-based practice, participating in safety and quality initiatives, and contributing to wellness and patient experience. Required certifications include RN licensure and BLS/CPR; NRP within six months of hire; and neonatal/women-infants competency as defined for the role. The position is full-time, onsite with rotating day/night shifts, and offers career growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- RN licensure in state of practice
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS/CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or UCHealth Fellowship program
- On-site clinical practice and direct patient care in Women and Infants units
- Ability to work rotating Days/Nights and full-time schedule
