Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality delivery. Maintain a current Georgia Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and one year of hospital experience if filling a PRN role. This position supports the nursing team at Piedmont Augusta Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required
