Job Summary
RN Mental Health Instructor – responsible for providing clinical instruction in long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites; creating a clinical learning environment that supports student growth; preparing and delivering progress and grade reports; maintaining attendance records; evaluating student competency against program objectives; employing evaluation tools to measure progress; participating in faculty meetings; maintaining RN instructor qualifications through continued education; and collaborating with program leadership. Must deliver effective instruction at the level of an RN or PN student, supervise students in the clinical environment, and demonstrate knowledge of nursing specialties. Candidates should be motivated, team-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to organize workflow while building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- MSN Required
- Valid State RN License Required
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required
