Job Summary
RN - Mental Health, full-time night shift (645PM-715AM) in Salem, NJ. Provides nursing services to patients requiring care, assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs, and develops/implements/evaluates a plan of care. Able to delegate tasks and supervise ancillary staff. Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program within six months of hire and graduate by the third employment anniversary; BSN/MSN graduates preferred. Requires current New Jersey nursing registration, Welle certification, BLS, and CPR (American Heart Association). Psychiatric experience preferred; medical-surgical nursing experience desirable. Location: Salem, NJ. Shift: Night.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Welle certification
- BLS
- CPR
- National Certification preferred
- American Heart Association CPR required
- BSN or MSN program enrollment within six months of hire or rehire and graduation by third employment anniversary date
- Experience in psychiatry
- Minimum of one year medical-surgical nursing preferable
