Job Summary
Provide nursing services to patients requiring care by assessing physical, psychosocial, and learning needs to develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care. Delegate appropriate tasks and supervise ancillary staff while demonstrating clinical knowledge, nursing competence, and decision-making ability. Maintain current New Jersey Board of Nursing registration and complete required certifications including Welle and BLS. Work full-time days from 645AM to 715PM at Mannington. Prior experience in psychiatry is preferred, along with one year of medical-surgical nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Welle certification
- BLS
- American Heart Association CPR
- Previous experience in psychiatry
- Minimum of one year medical-surgical nursing
- Demonstrates clinical knowledge
- Demonstrates nursing competence
- Demonstrates basic leadership skills
- Demonstrates decision-making ability
- Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position
