Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical, trauma, and medical patients on a 29-bed unit. Manage patients with complex needs including GI surgeries, vascular procedures, ostomies, and drains, while coordinating care activities for all assigned staff within organizational policies. Provide care for stabilized trauma patients admitted to this non-ICU/step-down floor at a Level 2 trauma center. Work nights from 7pm to 7am with a weekend option available. Weekend Option Nights 7pm-7am
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Bachelor's degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
