Job Summary
RN leader in patient care using the nursing process within the Nursing Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Standards of Practice; effectively delegates and leads licensed and ancillary team members, ensures quality patient outcomes, and supports unit/department goals while adapting to diverse patient populations. Requires RN license and BLS; preferred BSN; emphasizes communication, teaching, and collaboration on an interdisciplinary team. May adapt practice to regulatory requirements and organizational standards; responsible for professional accountability and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
