Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care (Med-Surg) units, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team environment. This onsite Surgical Trauma Nights role requires 6 months of RN experience, current BLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree if less than three years of experience. Schedule is part-time, 48 hours per two-week pay period, with pay ranging from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
