Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients in the MedSurg/Surgical Observation Unit. Maintain professional accountability for care provision and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Perform duties consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards. Requires current RN license, accredited nursing degree, and BLS certification. Full-time nights shift with day-one comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage, plus tuition reimbursement and employer-matched retirement.
