Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on a 30-bed acute care Neurology floor specializing in stroke, spinal injuries, and head trauma. Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff including PT/OT, respiratory therapy, and the STAT team while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Work part-time shifts from 7am to 7pm with a preceptor-supported orientation period. Current RN licensure in Georgia or NLC/eNCL multistate license required, with BCLS mandatory and ACLS certification needed within 180 days for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- NRP by the end of orientation period
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- PEARS or PALS Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- PALS Certification
- ENPC Certifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU/ARU - ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)
