Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the expanding Pulmonary unit. Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice while working closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle within the framework of organizational policies and procedures. Full-time days 7am-7pm. Sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- TNCC and ENPC Certifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- NRP
- PEARS or PALS Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- PALS Certification
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certification within 1 year of start date
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 Days Required
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 12 months of start date
