Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the expanding Pulmonary unit. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Work full-time days from 7am to 7pm with patient ratios adjusted by volume and acuity. This role supports close collaboration with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to provide top-notch care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- TNCC and ENPC Certifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- NRP
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU/ARU - ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- Mother/Baby- NRP
- NICU- NRP
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- PALS Certification
- PEARS Certification
