Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the expanding Pulmonary Unit. Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice while working closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle within the organization's policies and procedures. Full-time days 7am-7pm with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PALS Certification
- PEARS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU/ARU - ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- ACLS Certification - (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date)
- PALS and ENPC Certifications
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certification within 1 year of start date
- Prior to independent chemotherapy administration
