Job Summary
Assess patients, administer medications, and monitor for side effects while documenting care in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Respond to medical emergencies, perform life-saving interventions, and assist during procedures within scope. Provide patient and family education on conditions and post-discharge care, ensuring adherence to instructions. Adhere to infection control protocols, operate medical equipment, and participate in audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain regular attendance and comply with all policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
- Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
- Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support

- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
