Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Ortho Spine Patient Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process to manage moderate to high acuity patients. Prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team approach. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. This full-time nights shift role requires 6 months of RN experience, state licensure, and current BLS certification. The position offers a quarterly night shift incentive program and access to extensive educational support, including tuition reimbursement and LinkedIn Learning.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
