Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Ortho Spine Patient Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process for moderate to high acuity patients. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team collaboration to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff while contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. Work nights in a fast-paced clinical environment with a minimum of three days open.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
