Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff. Maintain standards of practice and function within organizational policies to ensure quality care. This role requires current Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, and ACLS certification, with specific specialty certifications required within 180 days depending on the unit. New graduates are eligible for positions with one year of hospital experience preferred. The position is a night shift role at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients
- BLS required only
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP by the end of orientation period
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
