Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating activities for all assigned staff. Function within organizational policies to ensure quality care delivery. Maintain current Georgia State Licensure, BCLS, and ACLS certifications, completing additional specialty-specific credentials within 6 months or 180 days as applicable. Requires a Bachelor's Degree preferred, one year of hospital experience for PRN roles, and current RN licensure. Join the nursing team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients
- BLS required only
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP by the end of orientation period
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
