Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff to ensure quality delivery in MedSurg, Oncology, and night shifts. Maintain current Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNLC multistate license and complete Basic Life Support certification. Obtain specialty-specific certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy training within 6 to 180 days as required by unit. New graduates eligible for positions with preferred hospital setting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Experienced Emergency Department nurses
