Job Summary
Staff Nurse role providing nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Works within organizational policies, coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff, and maintains standards of practice. Multiple specialty certifications are specified across units (e.g., ACLS, PALS/PEARS/NRP, chemotherapy/biotherapy). The position is with Piedmont Augusta Hospital, located in Andover, KS, and emphasizes new graduate eligibility, hospital experience preference, and unit-specific certification timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification (as applicable per unit) with timelines for completion
- PALS/PEARS/NRP as required by unit (per addendum)
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration (Oncology)
- PALS required for specific units (NICU/PEARS/PALS by orientation)
- Bachelors Degree preferred
