Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff to ensure quality delivery. Maintain current Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification. Complete specialty-specific certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP within 180 days or by the end of orientation depending on unit assignment. This role supports the nursing team at Piedmont Columbus Northside, a comprehensive care facility serving the community.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PALS Certification
- PEARS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
