Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating assigned staff activities. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Maintain current Georgia State Licensure and BCLS certification. Complete specialty-specific certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP within 180 days depending on unit assignment. This role supports patient care across the continuum at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Experienced Emergency Department nurses
