Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff to ensure quality delivery. Maintain current RN licensure in Georgia or NLC/eNLC multistate status and hold Basic Life Support certification. Complete required specialty certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP within 180 days of hire depending on unit assignment. Work full-time night shifts at Piedmont Columbus Northside.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)
- orientation period within 180 Days
