Job Summary
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients; coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to maintain quality nursing care and adherence to standards of practice; operates in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Night shift responsibilities in the MedSurg unit include delivering comprehensive nursing care, applying clinical knowledge, and contributing to professional growth and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current license to practice nursing in Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
- New Graduates eligible
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred
