Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on a 30-bed acute care Neuro floor specializing in stroke, spinal, and head injuries. Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice within organizational policies. Work part-time shifts from 7am to 7pm. Maintain current Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification; ACLS certification required within 180 days. Join a multidisciplinary team including physicians, therapy, and case management at a primary stroke center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- NRP by the end of orientation period
- PEARS or PALS Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- PALS Certification
- ENPC Certifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU/ARU - ACLS
- BLS required only
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)
- Mother/Baby- NRP
- NICU- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
