Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on a 30-bed acute Neurology floor specializing in stroke, spinal injuries, and head trauma. Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide comprehensive orientation and goal-setting support to new staff through a qualified preceptor. Works full-time days from 7am to 7pm with a sign-on bonus and specialty differential available. The unit is DNV Stroke Certified and staff utilize NIHSS-assessment certification and Georgia stroke class curriculum.
