Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on a 30-bed acute care Neuro floor specializing in stroke, spinal, and head injuries. Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice while working alongside physicians, therapy teams, and case management. Schedule is part-time, 7am to 7pm. Requires current Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, and ACLS certification within 180 days. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- TNCC and ENPC Certifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- NRP
- PEARS or PALS Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- PALS Certification
