Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on a 30-bed acute care Neuro floor specializing in stroke, spinal injuries, and head trauma. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Work full-time days from 7am to 7pm with access to a Stroke Coordinator, PT/OT, respiratory therapy, and physicians. The unit supports the continuum of patient recovery, with NIHSS-assessment certified staff and a comprehensive orientation pairing new and experienced nurses with qualified preceptors.
