Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on a 30-bed acute care Neurology floor specializing in stroke, spinal injuries, and head injuries. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff within organizational policies to maintain standards of practice and ensure quality care. Work full-time days from 7am to 7pm with access to a Stroke Coordinator, PT/OT, and multidisciplinary teams. A sign-on bonus and specialty differential are available. The unit features NIHSS-assessment certified staff and a comprehensive orientation pairing new and experienced nurses with preceptors for goal-setting and training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
