Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on a 30-bed acute Neuro floor specializing in Stroke, spinal injuries, and head trauma. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Work nights from 7pm to 7am as part of a team supported by a Stroke Coordinator, PT/OT, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy. Full-time position with a sign-on bonus available. Staff must be NIHSS-assessment certified and complete the Georgia stroke class curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Bachelor?s degree
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
