Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while coordinating activities of all assigned staff to maintain quality standards. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. Maintain current Georgia State Licensure, BCLS, and ACLS certification (or complete within 180 days), with additional specialty certifications such as PALS, NRP, or Chemotherapy depending on the unit. Provide care in Medsurg, Neuro, or Nights shifts, identifying and reporting high-risk situations including abuse or neglect. New graduates eligible if one year of hospital experience is obtained for PRN positions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS
- BLS
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
