Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care Med-Surg units, utilizing the nursing process and prioritizing evidence-based practice. Deliver specialty certification standards within the AMSN core curriculum while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team environment. Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications, with BLS required before the start date and good through sixty days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- BLS or CPR card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card good through sixty days of hire
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
