Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care (Med-Surg) units, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to exceptional outcomes through a multidisciplinary team approach in a fast-paced clinical environment. Work full-time nights (72 hours per pay period) onsite at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North, Colorado Springs. Earn a base rate of $35.29–$54.71/hour plus a quarterly night shift incentive of $1,600.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- BLS or CPR card from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
