Job Summary
Assess patients through the full nursing process to deliver personalized, evidence-based care while building meaningful connections with families. Manage the Med Surg float team across multiple campuses, ensuring safe teamwork and contributing to staff engagement and retention. Lead performance improvement projects, research initiatives, and shared governance efforts to drive top-notch clinical outcomes. Mentor fellow nurses and guide interdisciplinary teammates through competency assessments and ongoing education. Optimize resource management and care planning to reduce readmissions and shape protocols that enhance patient experiences. Requires 2+ years of Med Surg experience, BSN preferred, and RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN from an accredited school
- RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS
- National Certification in your specialty
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
- Experience with computer data entry
- A+ interpersonal and communication chops
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic tech tools
- Calm under pressure
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based decision-making
Desired Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited school
- National Certification in your specialty
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems
