Job Summary
Own the nursing process from assessment through evaluation to deliver personalized, evidence-based care for Med Surg patients. Build meaningful connections with patients and families while contributing to staff engagement and retention through positive team dynamics. Lead performance improvement projects, research initiatives, and shared governance efforts to drive top-notch outcomes and enhance patient safety. Mentor fellow nurses and guide interdisciplinary teammates on competency assessments and clinical best practices. Plan proactively across the full patient care journey and help shape protocols that reduce readmissions. Manage resources efficiently and apply evidence-based practices to impact patient care tools and systems. Requires a BSN, RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 2+ years of Med Surg experience; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN from an accredited school
- RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS
- National Certification in your specialty
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
- Experience with computer data entry
- A+ interpersonal and communication chops
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic tech tools
- Calm under pressure
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based decision-making
Desired Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited school
- National Certification in your specialty
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems
