Job Summary
RN MedSurg – Full-time Day shift in Granbury, TX. Provides patient-centered nursing care through the nursing process, coordinates and delivers care, administers prescribed medications, and collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes. Demonstrates thorough patient assessments, documentation, and education for patients and families. Responds to medical emergencies (CPR/code team), adheres to infection control standards, operates medical equipment, and participates in audits and performance-improvement initiatives. Maintains professional development and complies with policies. Requires RN licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred; 0-2 years clinical nursing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse state licensure and/or compact licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
- Associates degree in nursing or closely related field suggested per posting
