Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle within the framework of organizational policies and procedures. Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure the provision of quality nursing care while maintaining standards of practice. Maintain current Georgia State Licensure as a Registered Nurse and hold Basic Life Support certification. This role offers schedule flexibility and is part of a diverse team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
