Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to promote short- and long-term outcomes. Collaborate with the care team to coordinate daily patient flow, deliver safe care per policies, and maintain accurate documentation of assessments, changes, education, and incidents. Listen to patient concerns, serve as an educational resource, and communicate necessary information to family and providers to maintain satisfaction. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute to change implementation, and support shared governance through council service. Mentor other nurses, engage in professional organizations, and keep current with research literature and industry best practices.
