Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Med-Surg Cardiovascular Thoracic PCU units, utilizing the nursing process and a multidisciplinary team approach. Prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. This onsite nights shift role offers a quarterly incentive program for full-time night staff, with pay ranging from $35.29 to $54.71 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
