Job Summary
Direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Cardiovascular Thoracic PCU units utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a multidisciplinary team approach, and safety at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to secure outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. This part-time nights role requires 48 hours per pay period with a quarterly incentive program for night shift staff. Applicants must hold an RN license, possess six months of nursing experience, and maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
