RN - Medicine/Telemetry (Med/Tele RN)

Registered Nurse in the Neuro/Telemetry (Med/Tele RN) department providing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care on a nursing unit. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN personnel, acting as Charge Nurse, and serving as a Preceptor. Demonstrates neuro assessment, airway management of neuro patients, suctioning (pharyngeal/endotracheal/tracheostomy), care for trached patients, and use of equipment such as halo braces and ventilators. Supports education for patients and families, plans and documents care, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality cancer-care-focused services within Smilow Ambulatory Multispecialty. Departments include oncology-related specialties; location includes New York City, NY. Education pathway includes BSN preferred; valid RN license required. BLS certification is required.
