Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units utilizing the nursing process. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. This onsite role at UCHealth Grandview Hospital requires full state licensure, six months of RN experience, and current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
