Job Summary
Staff Nurse on the General Medical/Surgical Unit delivers safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Requires RN licensure in Illinois and CPR certification; associate degree in nursing or higher is required with potential pathway to BSN within five years. 36 hours per week, 7am–7pm with every 3rd weekend/holiday track; on-site in Elmhurst or Melrose Park, IL. Demands strong patient care, teamwork, and adherence to professional nursing standards in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association
